Daughter of the King
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
Hello again! I figured it was about time I wrote another post. I have some big news. Which some of you may have heard about already, but here it is. We got our first child! He is a little boy around 2 months old. He is super adorable! I will not release his name just in case I am not allowed to. Actually, I will call him Hank. (Patty wants his name to be that) Originally we were not planning on taking in babies but God has a way of changing our plans. So we’ll see how long we will have him. He does have a Grandma who is wanting to take him in. I’m not sure of the whole situation or why we have him, but I will leave that in Gods hands and just love the kid while he is here. (and when he is gone for that matter as well) And if you are wondering who is getting up at night for the baby, it is Patty and Melissa. They take turns. I am actually quite glad I do not have to. The reason I don’t have to is that I am here for Leah, and they are here for the orphanage. Here is a picture of "Hank" :) So yeah. Life is going alright! The day before yesterday I had the chance to go snorkelling! It was a ton of fun. At first I was actually quite nervous, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to breathe properly through the tube. But of course, it was actually quite simple. Snorkelling is honestly one of the most relaxing things I have ever done. I could float and float forever and not get bored. It’s so cool to see a part of God’s creation that normally we wouldn’t be able to see. And you gotta admit breathing underwater is pretty sweet. Wow, it is 8:21 p.m as I am writing this, and i am zonked! How on earth could I be so tired. I go to bed so early out here, but I guess I get up earlier to. It’s so nice waking up early without an alarm and actually being ready to get up. I guess I haven’t posted any pictures of the house yet. I will have to do that yet. Here is me on our 2nd floor patio. What a nice view hey? (We have a round about patio, so we can see the sunrise and sunset.) (oh, and this patio is right outside me, Patty and Melissa's room.) Here is me trying to learn Spanish on a website. (it’s called duolingo) If you want to hear a beautiful song listen to this! When I was at Agua y Mas we sang this song, and hearing those kids sing this was absolutely beautiful! They sang so loud, it was truly breathtaking. Thanks again for reading! God has been good, as always. Isn’t it amazing that God never stops being good. Anyways, may you rest in his love. Goodnight.
