Daughter of the King
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
Life is always interesting out here! On Sunday me and Patty went to the Spanish church in the evening. Well we had a "curfew" for 10:00, (not really a curfew but we said we'd be back by then, and Brian and Clarissa jokingly said they'll lock the gate if we aren't home in time) Church went later than usual, so we ended being home at 10:06 and we find that the gate was locked, and Brian and Clarissa were already in bed. Melissa was awake but she didn't know where the key was. So anyways, me and Patty were locked out, so we ended up having to climb over the gate, and Patty was in skirt not suited for climbing over gates. But it wasn't too bad, it was actually kind of fun to sneak in. Oh and don't worry, Brian didn't mean to lock us out, he said he did it on accident. Below is the gate that we had to climb over. And yesterday we found a tarantula. Actually we found 2 apparently I just went to bed when it was discovered. And I wish I wouldn't have, apparently Patty put on quite the show trying to kill it. Clarissa just released the other one into the wild. I must say though, it is a good thing that tarantula's move slowly, if they moved fast I don't know what I'd do. So yeah, life has been good. I still have my moments were I miss you all back home, but that doesn't mean that I don't like it here. I love it here, but I also love it at home. Today I found a good spot where I can do my devotions. It's over the railing on top of the roof. Here is a picture! :) Oh and I may have to spend the night with baby "Hank" this Friday so prayer for that would be very appreciated. I love babies, but if I have to be the one taking care them, I like them to be older. He just seems so small and petite, I don't want to hurt him, and often I feel I don't know what to do. But no sense worrying about it I guess, it will all work out.
Oh, and another thing. Big things have happened recently, actually yesterday to be exact. God has done some amazing things. I would love to share all of it, but I don't know all of the details since it has more to do with legal work. I do know though that Brian has met people in high places here in Mexico, people that you normally wouldn't just get to talk to. And these people that have so much power, are so excited with what we are trying to do. God is truly awesome. I wish I could tell you all the details, but I don't know how to write them. But I can tell you this, I do think that God has a lot bigger plans than Brian and Clarissa ever expected. Like I have said before, God's plans are not limited by what we think is possible. He is a whole lot bigger.
