Daughter of the King
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
El Señor es mi rey mi todo! El Señor es mi luz mi Rey! Those are part of the lyrics to a song we sang in church last sunday! Wow was it ever fun! I want to learn spanish so bad now. I wanted so much to be able to sing along to the worship songs. The church I went to was full of so much joy! Wow, were they ever pumped! There was lots of dancing, flags, and a lot of singing, actually most of it was singing. The service went from 6:30 till 8:30 or 9:00 and it was held outside. I can't wait to go again, I hope they sing that song again because now I will be able to sing along to most of it. The translation would be "The Lord is my king, my everything. The Lord is my light, my King) Below is the full song, if you'd like to listen to it. On Sunday i also had my first ride on the Mexican bus! So much fun actually.
Once church was over, me and Patty started walking to the bus stop. (The church was in Guaymas by the way) Apparently it isn't that safe to be walking at night there, we felt fine though b/c there were many of the church goers walking as well. Maggie on the other hand, did not want us to walk by ourself. So she made us stuff into the back of her truck box which was already overflowing. There were so many of us back there. Me and Patty thought she was just going to bring us to the bus stop, but no, she brought us all the way to San Carlos. My feet were so asleep after. It was also quite fun though, despite the uncomfortableness of the seating. They sang songs pretty much the whole way. They even sang an English song. Though instead of saying, "I have the love of Jesus in my heart", they said " I love the love of Jesus in my heart". It was cute though. I am going to Agua y Mas again today. I am so excited to see those kids again. (Same people who were in the back of the truck) God is so lovely! Sometime I just have to laugh and smile uncontrollably b/c he is just that wonderful. He makes me laugh a lot actually. When i was at the beach the other night. I was having some flashbacks of my life and what we've done together. And wow I could laugh. Another thing God has been showing me, is that he is so wise. And that his plans for us are literally way bigger than we will ever actually be able to understand. What a comfort to know that he doesn't confine his plans to fit into our small brains. He is not limited by our earthly minds. This place is starting to feel more and more like home. We have started to get into a schedule, which makes things a lot easier. The days are also going by much faster. I can not believe how slow the first few days went. Thank you guys so much for your prayers! God is definitely here. And I hope my writing makes sense. Often i write when I am tired so I hope it flows at least somewhat.
