Daughter of the King
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
Hola everyone! Time for another post. The past few days have been pretty hilarious. Though I will have to refrain from telling a really funny story due to the fact that I don't want to embarrass him/her. Though here is another funny story. Saturday night Cristian was over at our house, and him and Cole were running around fighting each other. So, they were on the patio, and Brian says "wouldn't it be funny if we closed the screen door". So that's exactly what I did. It took only a few minutes before bam, Cole comes crashing through the door. He completely destroyed it. It was rather hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing the whole evening. Picture coming soon. :P And yesterday the Scapinello's were over, so we went to the beach. We went to one that is within walking distance of our house! I think I can say that it is my favorite beach so far. There was this cliff that everybody could jump off, though I did not. I do not fall into peer pressure. :P Below are pictures of two different beaches. We went on Saturday and Sunday. And if you look closely at some of the pictures you'll see Brian trying to hit Patty with the kite. I also went to the Spanish Church again yesterday. Best one so far, reason being. I can sing along to worship now!! This time church was held inside instead of outside, because now it is starting to get "cold" in the evenings. So yeah, that means that we have an overhead with the lyrics to the songs. So pumped about that! It is quite interesting though to be worshiping God with words that you don't really know. I do recognize some words during church, and have looked up the translation to the songs I remember. But yeah, I don't really know what I am singing most of the time.
Today God reminded me to be still, and know he is God. To just be still and realize that at this very moment God is in heaven on his throne. That he actually exists, and Heaven is real. He listens to the smallest of my prayers , and cares about the smallest things in my life. Small truths that I often hear and know but don't always realize are actually real. I will try to update you again! We are hoping on getting another child in this week, and I am super excited for that. So yeah, talk to you again!
